Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with more than 5 years of experience in Accounting industry. As a Senior Accountant, you will process, supervise, and evaluate all day-to-day accounting activities. In addition, you will be establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting financial information.
Senior Accountant responsibilities combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to finalize the accounts, analyze financial reports and forecasts. Accountant duties also include ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all our accounting tasks.
Responsibilities
• Capable of maintaining bookkeeping from A to Z.
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
• Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
• Meet financial accounting objectives
• Perform and oversee annual audits
• Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
• Assist with tax audits and tax returns
• Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Ensure compliance with GAAP principles
Requirements
• Min 5 years of experience as Accountant in UAE
• Excellent written and spoken English Language
• Bachelor Degree in Accounting
• Good knowledge of accounting procedures
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Awareness of business trends
• In Depth Knowledge with financial accounting statements
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• UAE Driving License
