The mission of this position is to provide administration of the IBM Maximo – Maintenance Management System (MMS) database, ensuring continuous availability whilst managing changes to the data. This will require effective coordination between the Engineering & Maintenance, Engineering Performance, Procurement, Logistics and Finance, ensuring compliance to database change governance and processes.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES To design, implement and administer IBM Maximo asset database health management tasks. To administer and control approved changes to security groups and user licensing. To manage and implement approved changes to the maintenance and job plans, asset data and location hierarchy, and start-center and Maximo reports. To manage the support interface with any appointed Maximo 3rd party suppliers and integrators. Manage the implementation of new functionalities such as new custom fields and/or workflow changes within the MMS, to improve the planning, execution and reporting capability to streamline the current business process. Provide technical expertise in the implementation and utilization of the Maximo system deployed across Dubai Metro to all the internal and external users. Provide IBM Maximo technical support, advice and guidance to all users internal or external to Dubai Metro, to ensure that the availability of the MMS is maintained and utilized as designed. Provide regular and adhoc Maximo system performance reports, detailing failure trends and root cause analysis, and implement performance improvement plans as required. Develop and provide regular training to the users of the MMS, in all functions of the system. Act as the deputy to the Asset & MMS Manager. Perform and carry out duties as instructed/directed by the Head of MILS and/or the Asset & MMS Manager. Assist Development enginee r in creating an MMS MPT and c ontinue to carry out routine PM task. Develop regular BIRT reports to support the engineering performance and management team. Job requiring full technical understanding of the MMS database structure. At this level backed up by a professional qualification plus relevant Maximo application experience within a Metro / Rail environment. Provide advice and guidance to Line Managers and Maximo users.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED Requires a working knowledge of the different physical asset data attributes, hierarchy, reporting, workflow and modules utilized within the Dubai Metro application. Requires a working knowledge of SQL databases with proficient in query writhing skills, Visual Basic (VB) and reporting functions used within the Dubai Metro Maximo environment. Requires a working knowledge of the modern Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) suits and capable to work with different stakeholders with experience of report development, from requirements to report creation and implementation.

KEY SKILLS Excellent numerical and PC skills including the use of MS Office (Excel, Word, Access Database etc), Maintenance Management System (MMS). Ability to understand complex systems and learn new software-based applications. Maximo development and implementation skills, obtained through specific system application training and experience. Highly motivated, independent and flexible to be able to work in a time-sensitive environment and respond quickly and effectively to unanticipated high workloads, events and emergencies. Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities.

EXPERIENCE Must have minimum of 4 years work experience within the system elements of a Maintenance Management System, utilizing IBM Maximo. Good understanding and knowledge of implementation of the maintenance planning workflows within the Keolis MHI Maximo system gained through experience in Maximo implementation. Possess good experience in the development and preparation of maintenance reports. Possess good understanding how the different engineering components comprising the Metro System (inclusive of track, power supplies, doors, rolling stock, signalling system, automatic fare collection system, communications system, electro mechanical systems) are captured and structured within the Maximo environment. Must be fluent in English.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFCATION Must hold diploma or degree in an IT, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering related discipline.
