The purpose of this position is to provide safe and effective maintenance cleaning and landscaping services for Dubai Metro.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Carry out cleaning on the building and structure exterior of Dubai Metro such as stations, ancillary buildings, and depots as assigned and undertake the cleaning of special areas and at heights where required. Carry out Level 1 & 2 maintenance activities on the cleaning equipment such as the mobile boom, abseiling and high -pressure cleaning machine. Respond to incidents on Dubai Metro assets that require specific supervision and cleaning expertise in a timely and efficient manner. Follow applicable procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance with the requirements. Maintain accurate maintenance records of cleaning Dubai Metro assets, cleaning equipment, and other information using a computerized maintenance management system. Assist MCG Technical Auditor or other technical support staff to identify different types of cleaning methods including cleaning & restoration treatments. Perform line-side PM activities like PSD cleaning, over-track enclosures cleaning & lineside vegetation removals & Pest Control activity supervision as required. Perform supervision of external contractors & working at heights for external cleaning activities. Assist the MCG Technical Auditor in carrying out all aspects of landscaping activities as and when required. Prepare and review external cleaning reports for Dubai Metro/Tram stations, Depots viaducts and MCG preventive maintenance activities. Report faults for damaged assets observed during cleaning activities, to the concerned department. Follow the appropriate procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance with the requirements for external cleaning activities. Maintain accurate maintenance records of external cleaning activities, landscapes, pest control and PM activities, work accomplished, and other information. Ensure the maintenance of tools and equipment is in good condition. Perform shift and emergency duties when required. Perform and carry out other duties as instructed/directed by the MCG Engineer and MCG Technical Auditor.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED Establishment of cleaning standards and procedures for workers and ensure adherence to these standards and procedures. Should have knowledge of operating high-level access equipment and working at height. Should have experience in supervising sub-contractor.

KEY SKILLS Able to write simple technical reports, and prepare method statements and drawings as required. Ability to work unsupervised. A mature, methodical and responsible approach to work. Understand and with experience in adhering to structured work instructions Ability to work unsupervised.

EXPERIENCE

Must have experience in operations and maintenance of mobile boom, abseiling and high-pressure cleaning machine is desirable.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION Mush hold a h igher secondary certificate (12th), a vocational trade certificate, and/or diploma in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical engineering discipline.
