MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Assist the AFC Manager in preparing the maintenance budgeting, managing and allocating resources to all aspect of technical support activities within the AFC section. Assist the AFC Manager in overseeing all aspects of technical support activities pertaining to AFC section including engineering and maintenance work management, design modification, and technical support. Coordinate maintenance planning & scheduling. Perform and carry out duties as instructed/ directed by the AFC Manager. Ensure compliance with the Keolis MHI Management System and all relevant business processes, procedures and work instructions to deliver all work with appropriate quality and governance standards. Ensure security and integrity of all data provided including reporting performance, finance and customer information; reference Keolis MHI non-disclosure policy. To exercise personal duty of care for their own health, safety and welfare and for those affected by their acts or omissions; reference SMS GSOP-HSE1-6 Keolis MHI organisational HSE responsibilities Ensure compliance with all training requirements of Keolis MHI and ensure adherence to these requirements at all times whilst in employment. Report any accidents, incidents, breaches or potential breaches to appropriate management or the speak up process. Use safety equipment (including PPE) as required and intended and observe that this is also enforced among subcontractors and third parties working in Keolis MHI’s controlled premises/systems. Promote a good HSQE and Information Security culture among their peers, subcontractors and third parties. Lead by example and look at ways to conserve energy, water and resources and minimise the generation of waste through personal performance and raise recommendations on how to improve existing processes on this regard within/outside their departments through their Line Manager, Departmental Safety Meetings and any other appropriate available channels. Promote a good HSQE and Information Security culture among their peers, subcontractors and third parties.
KEY SKILLS First-level skilled. At this level might be an ex-apprentice, will be fully skilled and experienced. Works independently, in a controlled railway environment; all work is signed off. The ability to prepare engineering data analysis, reporting, cost estimation, maintenance and testing procedures, equipment specifications, method statements, risk assessments is preferable. Possess good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong organisational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities. Ideally a holder of a valid UAE driving license with good driving skills and experience.
EXPERIENCES Must have a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in the design, testing, and commissioning, and maintenance of AFC system-related works such as Central Control and AFC station equipment is preferable. Should possess strong PC skills including proficiency with Ms Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications and ability to learn new software-based applications.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Must hold a degree or diploma in Communications, Electrical or Electronic Engineering discipline.
