In conjunction with the Senior Leaders and HR Team, define and conduct analysis to identify the training needs of the organisation
Work with the HR team and Senior Leaders to shape the learning agenda including driving a performance culture
Take up the role for the management of the Skills Leadership Development Programme currently being formalised (K Programme)
Establish competency framework for use across the organisation in building the learning curriculum
Design training solutions identified; contract with vendors for outside training programs as appropriate and monitor the performance of these external training providers
Employ a blended approach to learning as appropriate to the needs
Build and roll out a first class orientation including pre and post mobilisation onboarding programme across the organisation
Establish clear processes for the accurate and timely capture and tracking of learning and development progress
Develop and implement a framework for continuous learning throughout the organisation
Utilise and adapt multi-media for training delivery
Evaluate and utilise Leaders and HR Managers as coaches and trainers (as appropriate)
Employ train-the-trainer and coaching skills transfer methods
Conduct training as needed
Develop and implement metrics for learning effectiveness
Work within the full training cycle to drive implementation, evaluate and review success and measure ROI
Explore online training opportunities and evaluate online solutions
Createmaintain training budget and propose cost-effective training solutions
Manage vendor relationships with learning vendors including selection and procurement of services and products
Facilitate, with the regional HR teams, the development of career paths using the Career Framework and competencies
Establish and manage the corporate Graduate Development Programme
Work with the functional leads and regional teams to ensure that the training and development is aligned with business requirements Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management or Learning and Development
Member of CIPD or similar
5 years above solid relevant experience as a Learning & Development Manager
A minimum of 10+ years post graduate experience in a HR L & D environment
Experience within a contracting environment within the international oil and gas market is desirable
Successful track record of training and development programme planning and implementation in a global multi-region setting
Extensive experience of the training cycle including Training Needs Analysis, Training Design, Training Delivery and Evaluation
Strong technical skills in talent assessment and development using tools such as psychometric tests, assessment centre, 360-degree feedback questionnaires, etc
Excellent skills in delivering and project managing leadership and management development programs
Experienced in designing, planning and implementing employee engagement survey, results communication, and formulation follow up action plans
Proven experience working with senior management in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment is essential
Strong business acumen as a business partner
Competent use of IT and Microsoft packages – especially PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to persuade and influence
Languages Must be fluent in English Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
Experience in the delivery of e-learning, WebEx and learning management systems desirable
Experience in coaching, mentoring and developing others in a complex fast paced environment
