ABOUT THIS ROLE

As Kaddra’s Full stack Engineer based in Dubai you build modern, responsive mobile and web applications for complex, high-traffic B2C and B2B products. You have strong hands-on experience as a coder with React, Redux, and AWS. You are Agile, rather than just doing Agile and you love JavaScript and have an aversion to .NET and or Java.

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE

• Delivering working software.
• Designing, building and evolving the architecture of the web application that is clean and solid.
• Building and deploying RESTful services.
• Collaborating with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features rather than negotiating contracts.
• Converting designs into pixel perfect reusable visual components.
• Maintaining quality and ensuring responsiveness of applications.
• Minimizing technical debt.
• Practicing Test-Driven Development.
• Responding to change instead of blindly following a plan.
• Valuing individuals and interactions over processes and tools.

Requirements

WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WITH

• This is a remote role based in Dubai
• Demonstrable experience developing distributed systems using a microservices architecture.
• Experience or interest in developing event-driven serverless architectures.
• Experience working within a SCRUM team.
• Strong hands-on development experience with:
  • React
  • Redux
  • Node.js
  • Jest
  • Amazon Web Services
  • Serverless Framework
• It would be great if you have hands-on development experience with:
  • Express.js, React-Native, Bootstrap, Python
  • Postgres (or any relational database)
  • Redis
  • Linux
  • ElasticSearch
  • Kibana
