About the Job:

An excisting opportunity has arisen for a Associate Professor/ Senior lecturer (Programme manager) Hospitality / Marketing to join EAHM Specifically, the main responsibilities are:

• Teach, guide, and develop undergraduate and postgraduate students in hospitality and business management
• Contribute to a culture of continuous professional development and excellence in teaching and learning
• Conduct research applied to the needs of the hospitality and leisure industry, entrepreneurship, innovation, and its integration to a sustainable society. Supervise students and accompany them in their projects and research projects.
• Engage in scholarly activities including conferences and seminars to disseminate the results of research conducted at the EAHM
• Comply and enforce academic policies in place, e.g., programme review, programme standards, goal setting, appraisal forms, finance claim forms etc. and ensure all staffing records are kept up to date.

• Manage academic programme, teaching faculty and students. Maintain programme quality assurance standards.
• Provide a secure, safe, challenging, and friendly learning environment.
• Present Professional Development Courses to facilitate the development of our industry colleagues
• Other duties commensurate with the scale and grade of the post.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications, experience and skills:

• PhD in a relevant discipline
• Teaching and learning experience in hospitality and tourism accredited programmes.
• Operational experience in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry
• Programme design experience
• Hospitality and Tourism management experience
• IT – Office suite, use of LMS,
• Communication and Team Working Skills are essential
• Very well developed written and oral communication skills
• Fluency in the English language
