About the Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Director of Memberships to join our team in Dubai. The main purpose of this role will be the successful setup, launch and growth of our membership programme and maintaining a healthy pipeline of potential members, successfully onboarding new members, and maintaining member relationships through multiple renewals is of paramount importance.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the program’s primary contact for prospective members. Lead prospect member outreach activities, including calls, introductory meetings, and presentations… Support in the preparation of new member onboarding material, agreements, and documents. Own the member onboarding process until handover to the Director of Lifestyle Services. Coordinate with leaders across Jumeirah and Dubai Holding to identify potential members. Take responsibility for the continued development and growth of the Jumeirah membership program and set relevant targets for member acquisition, renewal, and satisfaction. Be responsible for the identification and onboarding of members to the program. This will include sourcing member profiles from across the Jumeirah organisation, coordinating outreach, and running one-to-one member welcome events. Assign and regularly report on key sales success metrics associated with the above initiatives. Work closely with the Jumeirah membership committee to ensure the prospective member pool is consistent with the committee’s goals and vision. Maintain relationships with existing members and take responsibility for the successful renewal of annual memberships. About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Essential
8-10 years of sales or customer relationship management experience in any of the following sectors/areas: luxury hospitality, lifestyle management, or luxury travel & leisure. In-depth knowledge of Dubai and UAE attractions and culture, with sales experience in the region, demonstrated ability to communicate with HNW clients. A “hands on” natural problem solver, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. Willingness to travel and to participate in remote meetings for members in other time zones. Ability to speak multiple languages would be of significant benefit. Experience managing a sales pipeline, specifically in the UAE or GCC region. Experience developing a pipeline from the ground up would be a significant value add. In-depth understanding of requirements involved in the lifestyle management of affluent, high-net worth individuals. Demonstrated ability to set clear and meaningful sales targets. About the Benefits
