SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
We are looking for a candidate who can promote and sell a range of Decorative products to new and existing Key customers / Key Accounts ( Retail and project ) by using Jotun’s sales tools and techniques to develop strong customer relationships, liaise with the client market and respond to sales and technical enquiries in order to achieve the budgeted sales, gross margin, DSO, and customer satisfactions targets, and to ensure that Jotun is seen as a preferred supplier of high-quality products and services; in coordination with the assigned Distributors / Dealers.
This position is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and reports directly to the Sales Manager – Decorative in Dubai – UAE.
Responsibilities
- Implements and align Jotun Strategy through regular visits to maintain a good relationship in the responsible markets in coordination with our disturber teams and increase market share.
- Execute sales policies and marketing activities in line with company rules and regulations to support business growth, uniformity, and business efficacy.
- Co-ordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely delivery and good customer service.
- Liaise with the client market and respond to inquiries, introducing products and services to dealers/projects.
- Follow up with our distributors to ensure that our shops reflect Jotun’s identity and distribution strategy by coordinating and monitoring closely with Dealers.
- Organize, develop, motivate, and lead the distributors’ sales teams by setting clear targets and framework, coaching, supporting, following up, and monitoring each team member in line with The Penguin Spirit, to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the whole team.
- Expand and strengthen the distribution network through structured follow-up and mapping processes to ensure good performance of the existing dealers and plan well the new openings.
- Building project database for top 10 stack holders (interior designers, painters, contractors, and consultants) for the allocated market.
- Capitalize on the multicolour concept to enforce Jotun’s position as a preferred partner in the retail paint industry through best profitability and service.
- Securing small/medium/large projects and utilizing distribution network in the supplying process to awarded projects.
- Evaluate and follow up on team objectives statuses; sales targets, collections, DSO, JDPP.
- Maintain customer relationships through regular visits, responding to inquiries, and providing advice on product selection in order to achieve a sales budget.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field
- 3 – 5 years of sales experience and proven sales track record
- Sales experience in the paints/chemicals industry is an advantage
- Willingness to travel: The job requires traveling an average of 10 days/month
