We are in search for a candidate who can ensure Jotun’s HR concepts are well anchored and implemented, support employees and managers on various HR processes, systems and tools, and act as a strategic business partner for all units within the MEIA Region.
This position is based in Dubai and reports to the Regional HR Director – Middle East India & Africa.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Act as an HR Business Partner for the Region by providing high quality HR support to the Regional VP, HODs, HR Managers and other stakeholders so that Jotun has the right people and competence to meet its strategic objectives.
- Support the Regional HR Director in handling HR concepts like Recruitment, Competence Development, Dynamic Workforce, Leadership, Total Reward System, Diversity & Inclusion, etc.
- Assist the Regional HR Director to establish an effective and efficient HR infrastructure mainly in accordance with Regional and Group guidelines, and initiate and coordinate various regional HR projects, ensuring quality and timely implementation, i.e., HR Reviews, Employee Engagement Survey, Employer Branding, etc.
- Act as a reference point for all HR queries in the Region and take responsibility to train and develop local HR to be proactive, competent, and efficient in implementing Jotun’s HR concepts, while having a good understanding of local laws, practices, and culture.
- Act as an active advisor to local HR Managers in the Region in accordance with Jotun’s policy, values and business needs to recruit, retain, and develop Jotun’s employees to achieve continuous business growth and profitability.
- Support and coach local HR Managers and HR teams to further strengthen key HR concepts, principles, projects and systems, and ensure that they are implemented as intended in the local units.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-7 years of experience in HR
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or any related field
- Leadership experience is an advantage
