What you will do

Senior Quantity Surveyor, Digital Solutions is a key role based in Dubai and will be directly reporting to Operations Director with dotted line to Director – Commercial Operations, Dubai. You will be responsible for the Digital Solutions Business and will to improve the monthly applications, measurement and submission of contract variations and extension of time claims for all ongoing Digital Solutions projects. You will be advising project staff on contractual rights, remedies and methods of redress on accelerations, project variations, delays and extension of time, BOQ items and its measurement mode for payment and assists in the preparation of financial claims and settlements.

How you will do it

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, Digital Solutions you will use your proven experience and understanding of Contractual and Costing aspect to handle the monthly variations, work in progress including reviewing and drafting of correspondence, preparing submitting and negotiating on final Accounts. You will be responsible for sub-contractor certification and monthly valuations. You will be supervising all the commercial data in relation to the project including labour, material and subcontractor cost and project budgets. You will assist the Operations Director and the Director of Commercial Operations with a range of other duties as and when required.

What we look for

Required

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying / Cost Management or equivalent

• Minimum 8 years of Quantity Surveying experience within the Software, ELV/MEP contracting organization within GCC region.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient in MS office, MS Project and AutoCAD

• Proficient language skills in English

• Multi-tasking, self-motivated upbeat teammate with a flexible and adaptable approach to work
