What does the role entail?
- Serving customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
- Sales support functions – including data entry into the CRM, follow-ups, regulating the content of the CRM, etc.
- Servicing existing accounts, obtains orders and establishes new accounts by the prospect, planning and organizing a method/process to prospect potential sales outlets/groups and other trade factors.
- Creating content of sales presentations/material by studying the type of sales outlet(s)/business line.
- Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of customers.
- Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
- Keeps leadership informed by submitting activity and process/results reports – to catered by the sales person.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
- Recommends changes in products, services, and policies by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Provides historical records by maintaining records on industry, region and customer sales.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in sales/marketing functions.
- Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including word, excel, PowerPoint and outlook.
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
