The Role
An exceptionally organised and efficient Proposal Manager is required for an award winning architectural firm in Dubai. Having been in the region for over 20 years, the organisation has remained exceptionally busy throughout the pandemic and as a result they have gained further contracts again in 2022. Therefore, a more senior proposal role is required to add to their team. With a head office based in Dubai and additional locations in the UK and Saudi Arabia, their spacious office showcases the creative talents of the company and is a modern open plan environment with a highly motivated and experienced senior team leading the organisation to success. This role will involve the complete set-up, process and completion of all bids and tenders to exceptionally strict deadlines. Fully immersed in the proposal process you will have an exceptional eye for detail and be able to work quickly and efficiently under pressure. It is the responsibility of the Proposal Manager to ensure pre- qualifying questionnaires, all content, technical information, project team capability statements and financial information is accurate, relevant and delivered within the branding guidelines, showing consistency at all times. From the moment the project lead is given to you, you will monitor track and implement the proposal ensuring nothing is left to chance. Reporting into the Senior Leadership Team, this position will manage two Proposal Coordinators whom will assist you on a day-to-day basis. It is therefore expected that you will maximise the team’s skills to provide high quality proposals and manage multiple deadlines effectively.

Requirements
Please note this role is not a Business Development position where you are expected to source projects for the organisation to bid for, but rather it is a role based on delivery of the bid at every stage through to completion with a high level of efficiency, quality and consistency. Once successful in obtaining the project the contract is then further developed within the Commercial team. Therefore, you will be a highly organised, process driven individual ideally from within the construction or engineering industry and have approximately 3-4 years’ experience in a similar Proposal Manager role. It is expected that you will have advanced MS office capabilities including excel and PowerPoint and exceptional English language communication and written skills to native standard.
