The Role
A private office of venture capitalists are seeking to add a Finance & Business Analyst to their team. This role requires a switched on financial analyst who is both commercially and economically aware to assist the Principal with budget forecasting and strategic operational planning of the business. Currently managing 10+ investment projects the responsibilities of this new position include historical financial analysis, monitoring of financial and economic trends and the resulting implications of key actions and strategies to aid decision making. You will lead scenario driven financial modelling, feasibility reports and forecasting efforts to improve the development and overall growth of the organisation and prepare presentations up to Board level to support monthly and quarterly leadership meetings. As the Finance & Business Analyst you will take ownership of the accuracy of management reporting, investment tracking and ongoing critical reviews of existing processes and procedures to standardize and improve efficient budget and reporting consolidation. The core function of the role is dedicated to providing high quality, up to the minute information by planning and forecasting all key aspects of each project. Additionally, you will also research and prepare business cases to seek out new investment opportunities on a global scale.

Requirements
This role is highly analytical with the need to develop strong internal and external stakeholder relationships, therefore excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required. It is expected that you will possess a financial qualification from a reputable university and have excellent data visualisation skills to produce charts, graphs and dashboard reports, so an advanced level of MS excel with all formulas and additional functions is required.
