SAP Tax Expert

Responsibility

• Tax identifies a change the Tax Systems SME impact assesses the changes and, if necessary, raises a Change Request, for example for new tax codes or new design configuration.
• The role also makes changes to the SAP tax models by updating rates, end dating and creating new VAT condition records or Excise Duty rules, etc.
• In addition, they also assess changes in business operations that may impact tax systems or processes.
• Taxation program as a member of the Tax Process area to ensure delivery of tax solution and Change Management process.
• Counsel business leaders and their teams as you gain knowledge of the tools and systems of tax.
• Advise clients on a wide variety of tax issues, tax planning and restructuring.
• Help clients comply with their tax commitments, compliance and audits.
• SAP Tax model maintenance / Change Requests – Production
• Provide guidance on compliance related tax issues.
• Support senior tax specialists at client meetings and industry forums.

• Maintains positive working relationships with others.
• Works in conjunction with peers; and
• May mentor other associate consultants

• Completes assignments within budget, meets project deadlines, makes and keeps sensible commitments to client and team
