InterSystems Hiring for Junior Project Manager Job at Dubai Full Time

Currently we have a vacancy for a Junior Project Manager to help manage TrakCare implementation projects around Middle East. We are seeking a bright, ambitious individual with minimum 3-4 years experience working in a global IT consulting company who is eager to strengthen and transfer their skills to the healthcare industry, under the mentorship of the Professional Services Director and experienced Project Managers. The Junior Project Manager will assume increasing responsibility for managing the planning, day-to-day operations, and customer engagement of complex TrakCare implementations through delivery.

Job Responsibilities:

As part of the project leadership you will work to:

• Support the local team during the pre-sales stage defining and estimating the project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and customer
• Manage the project and processes therein – including the definition and on-going monitoring of the project implementation plan
• Manages all existing customers Change Requests from LOE estimation, until deliver and sign off.
• Apply and enhance the implementation methodology
• Define the resource plan
• Carry out resource planning and management
• Carry out the management and escalation of risks and issues
• Manage the project budget
• Ensure that the project team members are aware of and remain compliant with all the relevant procedures and policies
• Proactively manage changes in project scope throughout the project
• Ensure appropriate communication between the members of the project team and report on project progress and other project specific information to stakeholders
• Lead the ‘handover to support’ activities after go-live
• Lead the ‘lessons learned’ activities for whole project life cycle
• Produce the Project Closure Report

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-4 years experience of complex software implementation projects in a global IT consulting company
• Experience working in a structured environment with a clear delivery methodology
• Understanding and clearly communicating how a process works
• Top down approach of problem solving and flowcharting skills
• Knowledge of planning and estimation techniques
• Experience gathering and analysing business requirements
• Proven ability to write effective presentations and technical proposals
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders
• Project reporting experience and the ability to present in-front of an audience
• Good knowledge of technology and delivering value to the customer
• Ambition and willingness to learn
• Ability to travel extensively around Middle East

Education and Training:

• Master’s Degree in IT Engineering or Business Engineering (or related discipline) with demonstrated academic excellence
• Project management certification such as PMP or PMI is preferred
