Brand/Product Manager -Homewares & Appliances

The Brand/Product Manager will assist in driving the profitability of existing products, develop new products, maintain key relationships with Brand Principles and assist in executing the marketing strategy.

You will be partnering with iconic homeware and European Appliances brands

A snapshot of your core responsibilities will include:

• · Manage the Product Planning through entire product Life Cycle, to maintain the health of this line.
• · Execute Supply Chain activities to enable the company to meet its strategic Marketing plans.
• · Search online, trade & product journals and other sources for relevant information on Product Development/ Technology Development to enable improved business planning & performance.
• · Do effective competitive analysis to favorably position the company.
• · Define tactical components of the product marketing plans
• · Perfect documentation & maintenance of records.
• · Research potential new product offerings and develop supplier relationships
• · Maintain up to date knowledge of local and overseas products and suppliers and attend relevant local trade fairs
• · Liaise with Sales and Purchasing regarding inventory levels, forecasting and pricing structures
• · Liaise with Design and PR Agencies on the planning & production of advertising POS, packaging and press releases etc.
• · Provide the sales team with the appropriate tools to sell the brands (product information sheets, POS/marketing collateral, trade fair and road show materials, catalogues, price lists etc)
• · Work closely with the Marketing digital team to support commerce requirements such as websites, social media platforms, retailer digital requirements etc for your brand portfolio. This will include managing the PIM (product information management), writing copy etc.

About you

In order to hit the ground running you will have previous experience in managing brands, ideally in European brands home appliances.

Bachelor Degree is required with Tertiary qualifications in Business Management/Marketing or related discipline are advantageous.
