Inspire Selection Hiring for Traffic Manager Job at Dubai Full Time

We are looking for an experienced Traffic Manager for our 360 marketing, branding and events agency client. Positioned as one of the leaders in the Middle East this is a truly creative company working with prestigious clients in the region.

The Traffic Manager will create detailed schedules, set deadlines at each stage of the project, and will also make sure that work is distributed equally and fairly between creative teams and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Meet with the heads of departments to learn about the status of existing projects, and details about new projects coming into the agency.
• Create a schedule for new jobs, and assign those tasks using the Inhouse trafficking system
• Review current and future timelines and job statuses with the heads of department, and if necessary, the individuals working on the jobs.
• Reschedule projects based on new or changing priorities, such as when clients initiate rush jobs, or the we become involved in a pitch.
• Report to management about the current workflow, and communicate any possible issues with too much, or too little, work coming into the agency.
• Work with the accounting and production departments on invoicing, and possible additional costs due to rush fees, or unexpected deadlines.
• Work with freelancers and temporary contractors, getting them up to speed on jobs they will assist with.

• This position also requires significant collaboration, and traffic managers should have excellent people management skills. They need to know how to effectively communicate requests and assignments from clients to their team, which includes getting content creators to meet deadlines and following up when they don’t, pushing back when clients make unrealistic requests and making sure everyone is satisfied with the project.

Requirements

• 5 plus years in a similar role within an agency.
• Highly proficient in Scheduling and using a resource tracking tool working in a similar role
• UAE Experience
• Ability to multitask, organize and collaborate while monitoring, adjusting deadlines and resources as needed.
• The ability to juggle a wide variety of requests from clients with competing deadlines and limited resources
• Strong decision-making and prioritization are essential to make sure everything runs smoothly traffic managers need to be as organized as possible to schedule, monitor and adjust deadlines and resources as needed.
• Have a strong understanding of the marketplace, understanding market trends and networking in developing relationships and intelligence in supporting the business and personal growth
• Business skills in English, both written and verbal
• Extensive experience working in a highly pressured environment
• Developed computer skills with knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets, ideally using Monday would be advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to liaise with people from culturally diverse backgrounds and be sensitive to their needs.
• Organized and can work under deadlines
• Additional skills required include time-management, an eye for detail and problem solving skills. Proficiency with Excel and project management software is also important.
