Ugently Hiring for reputed organisation – F&B Manager with minimum 4 Years of experience in any 5 Start Property in UAE in similar position.

Job Summary –

Assist the FOH Manager in enabling employees to consistently achieve the service standards, with a high degree of guest care and service at all times, acting as a mentor, directing and teaching junior team members. Directly supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in preparing and serving food & beverages.

Major Duties & Responsibilities-

• The Head Butler is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:
• Functional and Technical –
• Perform all necessary tasks to service F&B according to the Standard set by the Front of House Manager
• Support and assist the Front of House Manager in his duties and responsibilities.
• Observe and evaluate workers and work procedures to ensure quality standards and service, and complete disciplinary write-ups.
• Assign duties, responsibilities, to employees in accordance with work requirements.
• Oversee the butlers during service and offer assistance when necessary.
• Follow opening and closing checklists on a daily basis.
• Ensure that the working areas comply with the sanitation and safety standards for the guests and employees, and all equipments are in working order.
• Visually inspect and take corrective action to ensure that facilities in the palace look appealing and attractive to guests.
• Participate in kitchen and dining area cleaning activities
• Train, supervise, develop, discipline, counsel, and evaluate line employees according to the policies and procedures.
• Make sure that communicate effectively with FOH manager and report any concerns as necessary
• Communicate and work collectively as a team with all the departments in the palace.
• Work towards the timely set up of the service areas and the completion of all mise en place works, in line with the working hours.
• Assist with monitoring and reordering any store items, minimizing where possible to avoid over expenditure
• Be attentive not only to the guests needs, but to the work colleagues around
• Investigate and resolve any complaints in a timely manner
• Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene and health & safety
• Maintain employee efficiency and morale in the palace at the highest level
• Attend mandatory meetings including divisional meetings, staff meetings, etc.
• Keep work area clean and organised
• Complete other duties assigned by the FOH Manager
• Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics which inspire Team Members to meet and exceed standards

Qualifications (Specific Knowledge, Skill and Ability)-

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Knowledge of private household operations including foods, beverages, kitchen equipment’s, supervisory aspects, service techniques, and guest interaction.
• The ability to maintain a “sense of urgency” attitude for the completion of responsibilities/tasks
• Dedication and willingness to go above and beyond in a hospitality driven environment.
• Ability to communicate in English , both orally and in writing, with guests and employees, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger and to collect accurate information and to resolve problems.
• Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
• Well presented with a pleasant and courteous manner.
• Interpersonal skills to provide overall guest satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: AED8,000.00 – AED10,000.00 per month
