The ideal candidate is responsible for developing and implementing a supply strategy that delivers the lowest total cost, reduces inventory, and maximizes customer satisfaction through world class service. ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute new improved supply chain strategies over the procurement, inventory and logistic.Manage every aspect of the supply chain and notify the senior management team of any possible obstacles to ideal efficiency.Contribute in maintaining policies, procedures and workflows for collecting and reporting key metrics that will reduce overall expenses while increasing productivity.Must have strong services and product knowledge of road construction projects. Negotiate, execute and manage regional agreements. Perform spend analysis to identify and target opportunities for potential savings or improved service quality. Purchase materials and services required.Develop alternative sources, ensuring continuity of supply, consistency of quality and competitive pricing. Advise management of market conditions and supplier base activity, which could affect pricing and/or delivery. Participate on strategic development and implementation projects and participate as assigned on special projects. Influence and contribute to the supply chain strategy and technology roadmap.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related fieldMust be certified in one of professional SC diplomas: CIPS, CSCP and CPIM7+ years’ of supply chain experienceStrong negotiation and influencing skills
