Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park, a preopening hotel, is looking for a talented Public Relations Officer to join their extraordinary team! Ideally located in the heart of Dubai Science Park, in the most sought after residential area of Dubai. Minutes away from mega malls, magnificent Jumeirah Beaches, world’s leading tourist attractions and Parks, auto drome and over 5 championship golf courses. The Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park will include 240 hotel rooms and suites and 84 one-bedroom apartments, anchor F&B offerings and an extensive 1026sqm cutting-edge meeting and events facilities.

Your day to day

In the role of Government Relations Officer the right candidate should maintain and cultivate goodwill and good relationship with government departments and agencies. Furthermore, this roles undertake responsibility for processing all types of visas including hotel trade licenses, commercial licenses, employment and residence visas for team members and renew permits and other visa/ license related documents.

The responsibilities of this role will be to submit relevant documents periodically as required to the Immigration office with regard to team members who are cancelled and deleted from the hotel’s sponsorship list; obtain monthly sponsorship reports from the Immigration Office and tally and re-submit to Immigration Office with relevant support documents. The responsibilities also extend to preparing reports on a monthly basis ie. visa reconciliation, passport inventory, etc. Furthermore, the incumbent would also have to carry out other relevant tasks and duties as assigned from time to time.

What we need from you

The ideal person must have 2 to 4 years of progressive work-related experience in the same role in Dubai. The role requires candidate with strong capabilities in planning & organizing, detail-oriented and, with ability to work under pressure of deadlines and ever-shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. Must promote and ensure good inter-departmental relations.
