Your day to day…
Purpose of the role To expand the remit of the communications team and provide Arabic language capability to enable media and stakeholder relations, with a focus on KSA and the UAE Your day to day Media Engagement • Regular liaison with Arabic media and ME agency to secure media opportunities for IMEA spokespeople • Assist in dissemination of media announcements especially in focus markets such as Saudi Arabia • Stakeholder engagement (owners, General Managers, corporate colleagues) to obtain news hooks Events • Provide on ground support for industry events – specifically for media interviews at the venue Content development • Develop and distribute internal/external content for media, events, campaigns, stakeholder communications Campaigns support • Support Communications team in executing campaigns in focus markets Coverage reporting • Create and Share coverage reports for events/ campaigns/ press releases with IMEA and regional teams.
What we require from you…
Experience •Arabic media relations experience gained either with reputable media agencies or an Internationally renowned hotel •Demonstrable experience of Arabic PR/ Media/ Events/ Communications/ Campaigns Required Skills • Fluent oral and written Arabic communications skills (media style writing) coupled with English to a business standard. • 2-3 years of media relations ideally gained in a fast-paced evolving environment • Ability to work with initiative within a small, diverse team • Adaptability and flexibility to respond to business needs in a dynamic environment
