Your day to day

Handles the HR administration for new appointments to exits (i.e.. completion of documentation for all new appointments, requisitions, resignations, transfers, in MyHR, email, onboarding, Pension & insurance registration, through to deactivation on the same etc.)

• Handles the HR administration of new appointments and exits for General Managers through close communication with Resourcing Manager and Senior HRD
• Supports administration of Starter & Levers Surveys – exit interviews for terminated employees and welcoming for new joiners (Ispark & Iexit)
• Manage any internal audits with the internal and external auditors (annually) to ensure that all HR practices are in compliance
• Coordination and support collaborations to support a culture of Engagement in MEA hotels through various activities, Long Service Awards, A Day in the Life, fundraising, Celebrate Service and other HR projects as assigned
• Risk & Reputation of ethic case management, system management, analytics and calibration of monthly & quarterly reporting
• Area HR Allowances tracking and reconciliation of invoice approvals in Ariba
• Coordinate Area HR Communications – Area calls (Monthly), cascade calls (bi-monthly), Bulletins HR Appointments/Exits, letters
• Disaster Response Fund – Adhoc if there is a disaster e.g. Lebanon explosion with Brix, Typhoon in Philippines, etc.
• Human Rights – Monthly meetings with BRR on open ethics and other projects e.g. IOM, Article One, BHRC
• Colleague Heartbeat Champion for hotels & GMs, attending champion calls, preparing hierarchy lists, report queries, support corporate roll-out.
• Reputation & Risk Meetings – compile monthly & quarterly Ethics analytics report, monitor and support administration and monitoring
• HR Learning Events – organizer for the Area HR Meet (in person) and the Full IMEA HR Meeting
• Coordinator of Hotel & GM external Awards & recognition within marketplace – Middle East Awards, Caterer Awards, Employer of Choice, etc.

What we need from you

Critical Expertise & Experience:

• At least 3 years experience of working in a Human Resources/Administrative function within a multinational organisation
• Prior experience in the hospitality sector ill be advantageous though not required
• Good understanding of Employee Relations practice in the operating markets
• Ability to deal effectively with employees across diverse cultures and geographies
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Demonstrated basic knowledge of human resources support/HR generalist role
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office programs, presenting data accurately and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy for both numerical and written work
• Organised, delivery orientated and self-motivated
• Intellectual curiosity and commitment to learning and growth
• Ability to work remotely from Manager although with regular daily touchpoint
