Your day to day

The moment a guest steps into the hotel, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As Guest Experience Manager you’ll ensure that all Front Office hosts deliver on this philosophy. You’ll encourage and motivate your team to provide warm and sincere service that makes guests feel welcome and at home. You’ll consider all guest feedback and implement touches that set us apart from our competitors. You’ll need sound financial understanding to ensure that your team maximizes revenues, and to ensure that expenses are efficiently managed. And of course, you will be a pillar of wisdom and support when any member of your team seeks this from you.

What we need from you

The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality, leadership working in a 5-star hotel. You will have demonstrated capability in influencing and impacting business strategy and also have sound financial, analytical and business acumen partnered with proven ability to deliver on set targets. You will be a change agent with the ability to work alongside a team and collaborate with key stakeholders with a sense of urgency. Strategic thinking, the ability to explore new ways of working and an open mind around how we can drive the hotel forward and deliver unrivalled guest journeys will be highly advantageous. Demonstrated ability to work with guests and champion a brand is also a must. Have a strong drive for results, dynamic, possess good communication skills both verbal and written. Knowledge of computer accounting programs, math skills as well as budgetary analysis capabilities are required. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
