Your Role and Responsibilities
Business Transformation Consultantsin IBM’s Client Engineering are part of a cross-functional team that delivers a unique client co-creation experience to accelerate client transformation. As part of an entrepreneurial team, you will co-create with clients through IBM Client Engineering as the new norm.You will be working as a BusinessTransformationConsultant to help drive our Global Markets sales initiatives. You will support the client account team as the technical business expert that helps identify solutions and services for our customers. You will help lead workshops,develop business points of view andbusiness cases for client investment in IBM offerings. Youwill be involved in the entire sales process from initial client contact toensuring a path to successful adoption. You will be familiar with similar industry solutions and how they differ. You will be viewed asanIT industryexpert and help build IBM eminence by contributing to reusable assets and techniques to improve cloud and cognitive adoption.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Knowledge and skill in strategic analysis and financial analysis
• Experiencewith agile productmanagement of technology products.
• Working knowledge of hybrid multi-cloud architectures, microservices design, DevOps and agile coaching. Architectural knowledge of IBM Cloud, Cloud Paks, RedHat OpenShift, containerization/Kubernetes and the RedHat portfolio.
• Experience in helping clients migrate and transform from on premise to cloud infrastructure and operations
• 10+ years of experienceas a Business Consultant.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 8+ years of previous experience in strategic business consulting in large, complex organizations
• 3+ years of previous experience working as a client facing business consultantor P&L product manager of a technology product
• Demonstrated skill in developing technical value propositions, pro-forma financial business cases and impactful client proposals
• Demonstrated understandinghow Cloud and Cognitive technologies drive business value
• Experience guiding digital transformation in large, complex organizations.
• Experience helping clients modernize applications on the Cloud
• Excellent facilitation and communication skills
