Job Description – Regional Sales Manager GCC – CPI
The Big Picture

As an Regional Sales Manager under general direction, responsible for selling products and/or services to a group of clients and identifying potential customers in order to reach the project profitability and billing levels. Activities include negotiation, sale, installation or delivery, and post-sale services.
What Needs To Be Done?
- Close cooperation with the regional Howden Sales team in Dubai, proactively manage the customer base and equipment installed base for aftermarket & repair business within the GCC, to obtain customer RFQ’s to position CPI Howden as a preferred supplier and service partner and to drive profitable growth of AFM bookings.
- Develop, Maintain and grow effective customer relationships by maximizing the interaction mainly by a face-to-face meetings,
- Under the guidance of the UK sales director, provide the organization with insight into customer/market opportunities and competitive intelligence.
- Aligned with UK sales director execute field tactics and action plans that are consistent within CPI by Howden business and marketing strategies, and which will result in achievement of our sales and profit objectives for the GCC.
- Aligned with CPI by Howden strategy to grow compressor parts, service business in the GCC for all sectors with a focus on the refining and petrochemical market
What Do You Need To Bring?
- Graduate / Post Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
- A strong commercial mind-set and experience within technical sales, service, and aftermarket initiatives.
- Sound knowledge of reciprocating compressors
- Proactive hands-on attitude combined with a customer-oriented mindset and sense of responsibility.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience of dealing with the refining/ petrochemicals industries.
