What You Will Do

• Continuously learn and evaluate new technologies in the everlasting journey to perfect Hovi’s products
• Analyze and improve performance, scalability, and stability of products, environments, and tools
• Collaborate with Stakeholders and Software Engineers to deliver complex products, bringing your creativity to its maximum
• Performing QA testing, and creating required case scenario tests. Well-documented features and codebase. Ensuring secured product and quality releases
• Solve diverse problems at a large scale and implement complex data logic
• Perform code reviews, ensuring efficient code by all developers
• Providing support, training, and resources on the entire tech stack to developers
• Monitoring and keeping the team coding guidelines updated
• Working together with Stakeholders to improve technical procedures, work environment, and team skills

You, Will, Be A Good Fit If You Have

• BS in the software-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 4+ years of experience working on Python projects at scale, working with Django and other frameworks.
• 1+ years of actual working experience with the Google Cloud Platform, Docker, and Google Kubernetes engine
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines to build, test and deploy to environments
• Experience designing and implementing robust and scalable large-scale backend services, e.g., RESTful APIs, microservices, efficient data processing algorithms, middleware, and persistent stores (SQL and NoSQL)
• Frontend web development knowledge, including HTML, CSS, and frameworks such as React.JS
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills
• Extensive experience in Git and Git-based workflows (PRs, PR reviews, branching models..)
• Solid foundational knowledge of CS fundamentals and best practices for code and architecture
• Work proficiency with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices, and pursuing continued learning opportunities
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, engineering diagrams, and listening skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely. English proficiency

• Some experience with data science, and data scraping
