At MARRIOTT International, these team members may collaborate across various departments (such as kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry) to meet cleanliness requirements. Whether it involves preparing fresh linens and immaculate dining ware for guests, operating and maintaining cleaning machinery and tools (e.g., dishwashing units, hand wash stations, linen washers and dryers), or transporting dishware or linens throughout the hotel, these associates are dedicated to ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.Regardless of the role, several factors are vital for success – fostering a safe work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring that personal appearance and communication remain professional.Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards, cultivate and sustain positive working relationships with fellow employees and departments, assist the team in achieving shared objectives, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of colleagues. Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe working conditions to management. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 50 pounds or less without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by Supervisors.Preferred QualificationsEducation: No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.Related Work Experience: No related work experience.Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
