Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Head Waiter, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guests receive positive and professional service to the highest standards.Customer Service: Provide a prompt and courteous greeting to customers, take orders and deliver food to customers on the table in an accurate and timely manner.Food Knowledge: Have a complete and thorough knowledge of all menu items in order to be able to describe and make suggestive selling to customers.Service Standards: Follow sequence of service standards as per brand guidelines and ensure that all guests are satisfied with their dining experience.Team Management: Manage the set up and close down of tables within section, divide restaurant into sections for each shift and ensure fair allocations, and coordinate with cashier to handle accurately order invoices and tips.Cleanliness and Hygiene: Ensure that all work stations and equipment are kept clean and that cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.RequirementsCommunication Skills: Excellent communication skills are required to ensure that all guests receive positive and professional service.Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team to provide excellent service to guests.Problem-Solving: Ability to think on your feet and resolve any issues that may arise during your shift.
