You as a Sales Operations Specialist will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dubai, UAE. You will be assisting and supporting in deploying the sales strategies and operations in different countries of the region, through market analysis, competitive analysis, and or market segment definition activities for Grid Automation products, systems and service.
Your responsibilities
- Analyzing the market segmentation process by identifying all existing and new segments, putting strategy or business plans for each segment, and coordinating the segment teams.
- Leading the Marketing communication function by issuing newsletters, seminars, customer events, latest updates to operating units.
- Owning and maintaining the Segment, Sales, and market share database. Using salesforce.com, and other business intelligence tools to create relevant reports for different business needs.
- Partnering and conducting periodical market reviews with the world class front end (WCFE) to align on the key market drivers and adapt to the hub strategy accordingly.
- Initiating and leading the definition and implementation of Market analyses. Managing market and competitive intelligence analyses ensuring the design and implementation of specific studies on macro, micro and main segmented or targeted markets.
- Managing customers database, competitors and marketplace and consolidating information into actionable items, reports, newsletters, and presentations.
- Performing valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis – Interpret data, formulate reports, and make recommendations.
- Remaining fully informed on market trends, other parties’ research and implementing best practices.
- Leading internally and overseeing preparation of competitor analyses.
- Providing competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings, identify market trends, pricing or business models, sales, and methods of operation.
- Ensuring effective market monitoring by developing and maintaining internal marketing tools.
- Liaising with communications, sales and other teams to organize or participate in marketing events in different countries of the region such as: Seminars, Exhibitions, Conferences, Factory visits, New Products launch, and channel partners forums.

- A bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
- 0 to 1 years of experience needed.
- Proven knowledge in Microsoft office tools (PowerPoint, excel).
- Proficiency in presentation skills and helping management in the presentation.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English and Arabic language is required.
