• Live and breathe blue team operations!
• Expert understanding of blue team operations and threat hunting
• Expert understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP etc.
• Expert understanding of Microsoft Windows
• Strong understanding of Linux and OSX
• Forensic skills desired
• Strong understanding of enterprise systems, technologies, and infrastructure
• Proven experience performing duties utilising PICERL / NIST IR standards
• Strong knowledge of targeted threat actors and experience working on targeted incidents
• Strong understanding of current threats, vulnerabilities, and attack trends
• Strong understanding of ATT&CK framework
• Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise, and ability to work independently
• Strong attention to detail and reporting accuracy
• Strong English language skills, both spoken and written
• At least one certification: GNFA, GCIH, GCIA, GCFE, GCFA, GIAC Security Expert (GSE) or equivalent
• Scripting skills (Shell, Python, PowerShell) are a plus
• Previous experience working with EDR tools is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering desirable, but not mandatory
• Experience with cyber security related technologies IDS/IPS, AV, EDR, SIEM, ELK / Splunk
• Several years of IT Security experience, specifically in one of the following:
• Security Operations Center (SOC)
• Computer Emergency/Incident Response Team (CERT/CIRT)
