What will I be doing?

• Hilton is seeking an Account Director of Luxury Sales to manage a portfolio of Luxury accounts located in the Middle East region. The Director, Luxury Sales will be responsible for developing relationships and growing revenues from Middle East based luxury. The individual will represent the global portfolio of Hilton Luxury Brands (Waldorf Astoria, Conrad and LXR. The Director, Luxury Sales will also drive market-share from primary luxury consortia partners (American Express, Virtuoso, Signature) and with other luxury consortia program partners and drive the Group segment from the Middle East.

More specifically, you will:

• Represent Hilton Hotels at industry trade shows, special industry events, roadshows, and other activities to elevate customer awareness of Hilton to drive segment growth.
• Represent Hilton Luxury Brands at key luxury travel industry events and tradeshows in market (ILTM, Virtuoso, etc.)
• Establish Hilton Luxury Brands awareness and loyalty in market by directly selling to luxury travel agency partners.
• Identify and qualify new Impresario partners in key Middle East markets: UAE, KSA, Bahrain, Egypt, Kuwait and Qatar.
• Collaborate closely with hotels to ensure smooth handover of inquiries from High-Net-Worth (HNW) individuals from key luxury travel agency partners.
• Identify and qualify other luxury consortia program partners.
• Establish and deploy key strategic plans with Luxury partners.
• Lead and analyze data to drive luxury sales activities towards success.
• Aggregate client account-based growth data and evaluate areas of opportunity.
• Identify destinations where agencies support our competitors instead of our luxury brands.
• Model account-based trends on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis, and compare data with the previous years’ results, and forecast future account-based growth rates.
• Ensure revenue and ancillary goals/targets are achieved.
• Support the Managing Director, Luxury Sales EMEA for ad-hoc projects.
• Build positive internal and external relationships to influence people.
• Initiate and direct reciprocal efforts of multiple teams throughout the Hilton organization, including in and outside resources, as well as other crucial parties as appropriate, with the aim of fostering Company goals.
• Set standards for leadership by example, including resourcefulness to effect change, resolve issues and ensure partnership within appropriate levels of enterprise. Overall, you will maintain the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity.
• Take initiative to identify, prioritize and execute all elements required for team to fulfill responsibilities in keeping with core key goals.
• Advocate and implement professional development for self and others, including work with peers and other resources to provide development and mentoring opportunities; includes adherence to organization’s standards for performance feedback.
• Evaluate and look for opportunities from a strategic perspective, to prioritize and implement plans to help meet the organization’s core strategic goals.

• Strong customer service and communication skills (verbal and written), while employing diplomacy with high-level executives and customers within the organization on a global scale
• Creative presentation skills, including crafting message points for presentations
• Ability to dedicatedly establish appropriate opportunities to share those messages with all constituent groups
• Effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate; ability to enthusiastically identify and prevent potential problems
• Strong negotiation skills that can be used to capitalize on value for internal and external partners
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Capacity to balance multiple priorities and optimally handle concurrent demands to prioritize responsibilities
• Experience working independently with minimal direction
• Complete discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

• BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma/GED with relevant years of Sales experience or
• Relevant years of Account Director level experience
• Experienced within the Luxury and Travel Industry Market with well-established relationships already in place
• Fluent in English and Arabic (verbal and written)
• Ability to travel

• Relevant years of professional experience, hospitality industry experience preferred
• Relevant years of Luxury/Leisure market experience
• Global experience
• Proven success working in a matrix organization
