Position Summary

Hex Trust is growing rapidly, and to cope with that growth we would like to add a Finance professional to the team. We are looking for a VP to focus on corporate accounting, financial and regulatory reporting, and have a keen interest in developing your career in the blockchain industry .

Responsibilities

Responsible for GL reconciliations, month-end closing, preparation of financial reports/schedules

Keep abreast of regulatory, tax and financial reporting standard changes

Liaise with external auditors to prepare audited financial statements in accordance with IFRS

Ensure the accurate and timely submission of regulatory and tax returns in compliance with the local requirements

Responsible for implementation of internal controls and monitoring processes to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Participate in projects, system implementation and ad hoc tasks

Requirements

CPA/ACCA with bachelor degree in finance, accounting, business or equivalent

6+ years of relevant work experience in a finance role. Big 4 audit or Financial Industry experience is preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills (English and Arabic)

Strong interpersonal skills, team player, detail-minded, self-motivated and able to work under pressure

Proficient in Microsoft Office/ Google Suite applications

Experience with Xero accounting software will be an advantage
