Hermès Parfums Hiring for Permanent Contract – Demand Planner – Middle East India & Africa, Hermès Perfume & Beauty Job at Dubai Full Time

As Demand Planner, you will be a key contributor in the structuring and management of all operations processes of the MEIA Business unit.

You will be the link between our Perfume & Beauty Headquarters based in Paris and the Dubai office.

Your main mission will be to build our forecasts with the central and local teams (on novelties and basics), ensure information sharing between HQ in Paris and Dubai teams and to track & ensure good consumption rate of our forecasts.

Information keeper, you will be the referee for all Operations topics between Headquarters and the local team.

Entrepreneur and solution oriented, you will be a key player in the improvement of our existing systems and processes in order to generate greater forecast accuracy and better analyses.

1. Management of forecasting deadlines

• Be the key actor of all the forecasts deadlines
• Ensure the preparation, communication and follow-up of the forecast files by market (Perfume and Make-up) in collaboration with marketing team
• Consolidate the forecasts made by the local team
• Provide deep analysis on forecasts to spot error and challenge data
• Ensure communication to HQ and update our forecast management file

2. Catalog forecasts and anticipation

• Provide forecasts of basic items with a focus on key references for the 12 rolling months (with a focus on 3 first months)
• Share the right signals on key references (Salable and POSM) to the supply department in France to limit risk of out of stock
• Create new processes and files with the local team on the forecasting of basic products
• Prepare and share with the team the vision on out of stock on weekly basis and propose replacement solutions

3. Forecast Follow-up

• Follow the consumption of forecasts and analyze the gaps between budget and actual (Salable and POSM)
• Update constantly our forecast follow-up file to ensure data consistency
• Ensure the communication of our Forecasts consumption to the team monthly
• For every launch, verify all novelties are well ordered in accordance with the forecasts calendar
• Flag under and over consumption and challenge the team
• Communicate all cancelled/delayed SKU and other changes
• Support sales team on order preparation
• Monitor the monthly postponement process

4. Sales &Operations (S&OP) and Convergence meetings preparation

• Information keeper, you must maintain and make information accessible to the team
• Ensure the preparation and participate to S&OP and Convergence meetings
• Ensure sales team involvement & collaboration in all types of analysis
• Create files and processes to meet the growing expectations of HQ
• Participate and ensure communication of our international monthly operation meeting main topics

5. Budget

• Assist the Business Analyst in the yearly budget, quarterly re-estimates and the 3-Year plan (B+2) construction
• Prepare Analysis on Turnover by line and central POSM based on your forecasts
• Ensure Forecast management file maintenance and accuracy
• Assist management in the preparation of the presentation to International management

6. Ad-hoc analyses

• Perform Ad-hoc analysis for the management
• Proficient on Power Point, ensure the quality & consistency of presentations

• Graduated from an business/engineering school, you have a first experience of at least 3 years, in Demand planning, Supply chain or Finance.
• You have an entrepreneurial spirit and you are an “outside of the box” thinker with the ability to find solutions in a complex and fast changing environment
• You are solution-oriented and have strong attention to details. You are known for your organization and time management skills.
• You are accountable, reliable and have strong analytical skills
• You have a perfect command of computer tools (Excel & Powerpoint are a must have / VBA is a plus) and speak English & French fluently (written/spoken).

The Middle East, India & Africa (MEIA) team based in Dubai ensures the distribution of Perfumes and Beauty products on three continents: Middle East, Africa and Southwest Asia.
