I’m currently assisting an International Offshore Marine Services company providing services to Offshore Oil & Gas Industries and Offshore Marine Construction companies with their search for a Tax Manager.
Your new role
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, responsible for establishing and implementing the organisations’ tax strategy (Withholding Tax etc.).
This role holds responsibility for managing all aspects of Tax Management and Reporting within the company. Key responsibilities include structuring, managing and documenting tax procedures, ensuring fulfilment of tax compliance obligations of the company and structuring transactions in terms of tax optimisation.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be considered for this position, candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting and Finance related subjects, any additional certificates or degrees are an asset (CTA, ACCA, CPA, CFA etc.).
Candidate must haves:
- Experience working in a Tax Function for a Marine Services company or related industries
- Excellent knowledge of Withholding Tax
- 6+ years’ of experience in Taxation
- Big 4 / Practice experience is a plus, not required
