I’m currently assisting an International Oil & Gas Trading Company providing services to a variety of suppliers and consumers including major global oil corporations, with their search for a Middle Office Analyst.
Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Risk Officer, responsible for preparing PnL exposure, working closely with the Senior Analyst and ensuring trade activity complies with internal and external policies / limits.
This role holds responsibility for managing all aspects of Middle Office Management within the company. Key responsibilities include, preparing PnL Exposure, reconciling daily PnL, highlighting ETRM discrepancies and ensure market valuation of positions held are as accurate as possible.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be considered for this position, candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelors’ in Accounting and Finance related subjects, any additional certificates or degrees are an asset (ACCA, CFA, CPA etc.).
Candidate must haves:
- Experience working in a Middle Office Analyst role for an International Oil & Gas Trading Company or related industries.
- Excellent knowledge of of MS Excel (preferably with VBA, SQL and python programming)
- Knowledge of a ETRM System
– 2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience in a commodities role
