Tax Manager with experience in indirect Tax management and reporting for an international Oil Trading company.

I’m currently assisting an International Oil Trading company with their search for an Indirect Tax Manager.

Your new role

Reporting to the Finance Director, responsible for managing all aspects of indirect Tax, VAT, Excise and Customs for the company in each jurisdiction. Primary focus will be in UAE.

This role holds responsibility for managing all aspects of indirect Tax Management and Reporting within the company. Key responsibilities include structuring, managing and documenting indirect tax procedures, ensuring fulfilment of tax compliance obligations of the company and structuring transactions in terms of tax optimisation.

What you’ll need to succeed

To be considered for this position, candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting and Finance related subjects, any additional certificates or degrees are an asset (CTA, ACCA, CPA, CFA etc.).

Candidate must haves:

• Experience working in a Tax Function for a complex international company or related industries
• Excellent knowledge of VAT in UAE and GCC Countries
• 6+ years’ of experience in indirect Tax
• Knowledge of UAE Customs
• Big 4 / Practice experience is a plus, not required
