An exciting company with diversified interests in shipping, classic cars and plant machinery is searching for a highly motivated individual to join their team as the Head of HR & Corporate Communications. Your new role
This role is responsible for developing and implementing people strategies that support the success of the organisation. You would also be responsible for corporate communications and developing communication plans to build the reputation among key audience members.

HR Responsibilities:

• Reporting directly to the CEO, you will partner with the SLT and drive the HR offering to this SME international, fast paced, ambitious and driven business
• You will drive collaboration, deliver a best in class, employee focused HR strategy
• Driving global projects across the group including DE&I, reward, retention, talent development, organisational design
• Full autonomy to drive the HR function forward
• You will be confident working closely with heads of businesses and be able to deliver a clear people plan for their divisions
• Leading a team that is spread over offices in Dubai, Karachi and Mumbai, this is a structure you will be responsible for bringing synergy to
• You will be an expert across a generalist HR remit and be able to devise and deliver key projects through direction as well as being hands on operationally when required
• You’ll also be a coach and counsel to the Global Leadership team, as well as oversee all aspects of the HR function

What you’ll need to succeed

• A proven and strong HR background across a variety of sectors, ideally to include consultancy and professional services
• Strong OD and integration experience
• Experience working for a global business, as well as an SME and be able to influence key stakeholders
• Strong management skills as well as strong strategic and delivery experience
• Operating at a senior level already and ready for that next step up
• Ideally be MCIPD qualified or have equivalent experience
