Credit Manager with experience working in Luxury Retail with a strong background in Credit Control

A leading fashion distribution company is searching for an experienced Credit manager to fill in their vacancy in UAE
Your new role
Reporting to the Regional Credit Manager, this role will be responsible for the entire credit granting process, consistent application of credit policy, periodic credit reviews of existing customers and assessment of creditworthiness of potential customers
Key responsibilities
- Ensuring credit policy is adhered according to company standards
- Monitor country portfolio for trends & report market /risk warnings
- Analyse daily, weekly, and monthly credit reporting to monitor performance and identify issues
- Prepare the annual budget and monthly/quarterly forecasts for credit management
- Credit control dashboard, reports on aged debt, overdue debt, DSO, cash flow, credits processed and provision for losses
- Handling end to end process of Letter of Credit (LC), Cash Against Document (CAD)
- Customers negotiations, Strong analytical and Problem solving skills
What you’ll need to succeed
To be considered for this position, candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor’s in accounting, Accounting or Finance related subjects, any additional certificates or degrees are an asset (ACCA, ACA, CMA etc)
Candidate must haves
- Experience in Credit Management
- Working knowledge in Oracle & SAP
- Arabic skills are a plus
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
