Accountant – logistics / tariffs with experience working in an MNC within Oil & Gas or related industries.
Your new company
I’m currently assisting an independent Oil & Gas development and production company with operations based out of the UK and Malaysia, with their search for an accountant focused in logistics and tariffs to join their operations in Dubai.
Your new role
Working closely under the Finance Manager and Logistics Manager. This role holds responsibility for maintaining accurate record and allocation of monthly logistic costs, maintaining PSV allocation model, allocate monthly PSV cost and act as the Finance focal point for the Logistics Manager and Supply Chain Manager on Logistics matters.
Key responsibilities include providing monthly fuel stocks information to JV accountants, reconciling of Logistics cost pools, preparation of monthly cost report and preparation of Logistics forecasts and budgets.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be considered for this position, candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelors’ in Accounting and Finance related subjects, any additional certificates or degrees are an asset (ACCA, ACA, CPA etc).
Candidate must haves:
- Experience working in a similar role / industry
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience in Sun6, Q&A and Maximo, is a plus
- 7+ years’ experience working as an accountant
- Plan and mange workload within challenging timetable
- Ability to interact and work well in a team
