Key Accountabilities: Plant Management: Lead and manage all aspects of energetic material sub-system plant operations, including production planning, scheduling, and execution. Ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently met or exceeded. Implement best practices to optimize storage for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Safety and Compliance: Establish and enforce strict safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment in compliance with regulations. Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards for energetic material sub-system manufacturing. Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed. Team Leadership: Train, and develop a skilled team of manufacturing professionals specialized in energetic materials. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations to team members. Budget and Cost Management: Develop and manage the annual budget for the EMSS plant, focusing on cost control and cost-saving initiatives. Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising product quality or safety. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes to ensure the production of energetic material sub-systems that meet or exceed customer specifications. Investigate and resolve quality issues promptly and effectively. Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components for production. Manage inventory levels to optimize production efficiency while minimizing waste. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance plant performance, efficiency, and product quality. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in energetic material sub-system manufacturing technology. Experience & Education Qualifications: Expertise: Extensive experience (Graduate with 10-12 Years of experience or post-graduation with 8-10 Years of experience) in the plant management of Explosives or Defence products. At least 5 years in a leadership or management role, with a proven track record of successful in the related industry. Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Defence Industry Expertise: Proven experience in energetic material sub-system manufacturing or a similar high-risk production environment. Familiarity with energetic material properties and handling protocols.
