GPS Technical Support Engineer
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient GPS Technical Support Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued clients, providing exceptional technical support and ensuring the seamless operation of their GPS tracking systems.
Responsibilities:
Provide prompt and effective technical support to customers via phone, email, or in-person interactions.Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to GPS tracking units.Configure GPS units according to customer requirements and installation specifications.Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, technical resolutions, and system updates.Collaborate with internal teams, including software developers and technicians, to resolve complex technical challenges.Stay abreast of the latest advancements in GPS technology and industry best practices.Develop and deliver training sessions to customers on the proper use and maintenance of GPS tracking systems.Manage customer accounts, including unit assignments, deactivations, and billing inquiries.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience providing technical support for GPS tracking systems or similar technologies.Strong understanding of GPS principles, protocols, and industry standards.Proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating systems and office applications.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
