The 500 Global Education Team aims to train the next generation of VCs around the world by recruiting, training and providing support to like-minded early-stage investors. What You’ll Do

This is the perfect role for a highly organized individual who knows how to manage operations and communications processes and is interested in being fully immersed in the world of startups and venture capital. You will work on all aspects of the programs, but your main focus areas will be planning/execution for in-person and online programs, as well as communications/sales. Relationship management is an important part of the position as you will be the face of 500 and the Education Team to applicants, participants, and other key stakeholders. You will report to the Education Director, Operations.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Building and managing relationships with potential candidates interested in our programs, providing unparalleled customer service and converting them into participants;
• Recruiting, vetting, and processing all applicants for our programs through application reviews, interviews, reference checks, and more;
• Engaging and following up with program alumni and nurturing the alumni community through messaging, events, and resource sharing;
• Providing logistical support for all programs from planning, budgeting, to execution (online and in-person);
• Tracking and reporting daily and weekly on status of upcoming programs;
• Creating, implementing, and analyzing the results of pre- and post-program surveys;
• Assisting in proposal development for new projects;
• Additional tasks and admin as required.

• Community Building: you enjoy building thriving communities online and in-person. Past experience may include creating a brand new community, working for a university alumni program, or organizing tech meetups.
• Relationship-Driven: experience in sales or business development.
• Self-Motivated: you are comfortable working independently and seeking help when needed.
• Cross-Cultural Communication: you are able to communicate effectively with participants, clients, and team members from around the world, from the United States to MENA.
• Experience Working with High-Profile People and Organizations: you feel comfortable playing host to a wide variety of people, ensuring they feel comfortable and taken care of.
• Strong Writer and Communicator: you are a great writer in English, and have the results to prove it.
• Quick Learner: you are curious and open to learning about how to use software tools to automate processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Topical Knowledge: you understand and read about venture capital & startup growth.
• Research: you’re an analytical thinker and know how to ask smart questions and propose solutions to complex problems.
• Data analysis: you like looking through historical data to identify trends.

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Must be fluent in English (native or near native proficiency) and Arabic
• Full time only
• Based in Riyadh
• Involves travel across MENA, Africa, and other geographies
