About the Role The Senior Salesforce Consultant is responsible for managing and administering the Salesforce platform for an assigned cluster of schools. They will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure that the platform meets the needs of the stakeholders and is configured and customized to optimize its usage. In addition, the Senior Salesforce Consultant is responsible for the configuration and maintenance of the Marketing Cloud. The Senior Consultant provides support and guidance to more junior members of the team when required.
Key Accountabilities:
Configuration and Customization: The Senior Salesforce Consultant is responsible for configuring and customizing the platform to meet the needs of end users (Registrars, Admissions Secretaries, etc). This includes setting up custom fields, creating flows, and managing user permissions.
Marketing Cloud: The Senior Salesforce Consultant is responsible for the configuration and maintenance of Marketing cloud key Elements like Email Studio features, Mobile Studio, and Automation Studio.
Training and Support: The Senior Salesforce Consultant is responsible for providing training and ongoing regular support to users of the platform. This includes creating training materials, conducting training sessions (Face to face and online), and providing ongoing support to users.
User Management: The Senior Salesforce Consultant is responsible for managing user accounts, profiles, and roles. They ensure that users within their cluster of schools have the appropriate level of access to the platform and that their accounts are set up correctly.
Data Management: The Senior Salesforce Consultant is responsible for managing the organization’s data within the platform. They ensure that data is accurate, up-to-date, and consistent across the platform.
Reports and Dashboards: The Senior Salesforce Consultant is responsible for creating reports and dashboards to help business stakeholders make informed decisions. They work closely with stakeholders to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and create reports and dashboards to track them.
Integration: The Senior Salesforce Consultant is responsible for integrating the platform with other systems and applications used by the organization. This includes ensuring that data is flowing between systems correctly and that the integration is secure.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree
Must have Certifications: ADM-201, Sales Cloud Consultant, PD1, PD 2, Marketing Cloud Email Specialist
8 years of Salesforce consulting experience in Sales Cloud ecosystem, Marketing Cloud, or Equivalent experience in Salesforce sales cloud development
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud
Knowledge of Lightning web component development, Lightning design development
Knowledge of Apex and Visualforce pages.
Hands-on expertise in Marketing cloud Journeys and Automation
Knowledge of Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio, and Contact Builder
