About your Role
We are looking for a Physical Education Teacher to join our existing team at GEMS Wellington Academy Al Khail, Dubai from September 2022.
The successful candidate will be an experienced PE teacher who is excited to join our world-class school and is driven to provide education at an exceptional level. GEMS teachers enjoy an outstanding school environment in which to deliver a dynamic and creative curriculum to motivated students. Our school offers some fantastic facilities including swimming facilities, outdoor sports courts (football and rugby), rooftop tennis courts and impressive indoor areas, including a 3-level gymnasium.

Successful applicants will have:
- Proven experience of teaching Physical Education at KS3 – KS4 and ideally KS5 (swimming experience is desirable) at an outstanding level.
- The ability and desire to share your outstanding practice and develop other colleagues.
- A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom.
- Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with students and parents.
Applicants must have a certified teaching qualification, such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent (PGCE/PGDE must be accompanied by a subject relevant Bachelor’s Degree).
