The College has been repeatedly judged to be Outstanding in inspections. Although non-selective at admission, our students achieve exceptional exam results which compare to top UK schools. In 2022 99 PERCENT of GCSE results were 9-4 out of which 55 PERCENT 9, and at A level over 55 PERCENT of all grades were A*/A with over 86 PERCENT A*/B. This success enables our students to move on to the very top universities around the world, including Cambridge, UCL, Stanford, Monash and Toronto.

The Post: Key Stage 5 Coordinator of Mathematics
We are looking to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Mathematics and/or Further Mathematics to join the College. They will, with the support of the Head of Department, oversee the provision of mathematics at Key Stage 5. Mathematics is the most popular subject at A Level in our College; with 18 groups across the entire A Level cohort, this is a fantastic opportunity to teach Mathematics to an advanced level. Behaviour in the College is outstanding and the positive relationships between student and teacher, alongside the highly motivated students means that teachers can focus on teaching their subject.
The successful candidate will work in an exceptional department. In 2022 the results were outstanding. In GCSE 100 PERCENT of students receiving grades 9-4, out of which over 62 PERCENT achieved grade 9-8. At A Level Maths 90 PERCENT achieved A* – B out of which 75 PERCENT were A*/A.
The opportunities which Mathematics present for students is central to the philosophy of the school. As a result, this appointment is crucial to the continued development of Jumeirah College.
The successful applicant will be required to have the following:
A B.Ed. or degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent with exceptional subject knowledge.
At least 2 years experience of the National Curriculum for England.
Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level. We are seeking to appoint talented, highly motivated and well-qualified individuals. You should have a proven track record of outstanding learning and teaching.
