Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for appropriately evaluating the cost of a project, and evaluating the cost to take on that project. The candidate will be familiar with our competitive advantages as an organization and will be able to communicate those to our benefit throughout the bidding process.
Responsibilities
• 3D, 2D, AutoCAD drafting and designing of civil drawings for marble and granite. ( lay-out for flooring, wall cladding, kitchen top, vanity counters, ramp flooring, planter box, ablution seating and Stair case steps & riser, landing, skirting.)
• Able to do shop drawing/detailed drawing against client IFC drawing.
• Reviewing of Tender Documents and other details to grasp the idea about the projects.
• Estimating the cost of different materials needed for the quantity take-off required for the Projects & highlighted drawings.
• Sending Inquiries and getting quotation for suppliers for marbles, granites & artificial stone.
• Support costing activities such as formulating quotation comparison sheet.
• Negotiate with suppliers & Sub-contractors on both technical and commercial aspects of a product.
• Submitting technical documents and samples.
• Assist in tender submissions.
• Kitchens, Vanities, Wall & Floor. Preparing Shop drawings, book matching for client approval Preparing monthly progress reports and invoices for on-going project Must have knowledge about Marble, Quartz, Porcelain etc. Autocad software is compulsory.
Qualifications
MUST HAVE MARBLE, GRANITE, QUARTZ OR PORCELAIN WORK EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering equivalent experience
Solid understanding of BOQ
Familiarity with blueprints and ability to read drawings and plans.
2-4 years’ of stone related experience preferred in UAE
