We are a leading organization in shipping and logistics based in Dubai, As we continue to grow, we are seeking skill & passionate Warehouse Manager to join our team
JOB SUMMERY:
* Manage all Warehouse activities including inbound, storage and outbound logistics.
* Performance Manage warehouse employees and ensures that all KPIs are achieved.
* Manage technical aspects of the warehouse and machinery including planned and preventative maintenance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage all the activities associated with good stock management– receiving, storage and dispatch.
* Internal warehouse activities such as repairs, assembly and value add services
* Ensure adherence to agreed turnaround times.
* People Management – Time and attendance, leave and employee welfare.
* Ensure adherence to safety rules and stacking standards.
* Minimise risk associated with fire, explosion and product damage.
* Stock management – stock counts, stocks recons, stock ledger accuracy, Stock keeper for accuracy and unsalable stock.
* Implement controls to prevent stock losses and damages.
* Inventory management – stock count, recons, control on stock movements as well as implement other measures to prevent stock loss.
* Performance Manage employees to achieve KPIs.
* Budgets – prepare and manage budgets.
* Employee Development – identify training needs and ensure that employees are trained and developed accordingly.
* Asset management- manage planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance (Equipment and Facility) Effective utilisation of information systems.
* Loading and unloading processing.
* Maintaining the warehouse standard in terms of Hygiene, Safety and House keeping.
* Supervising the work of junior staff.
* Team management.
KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Higher Education (Master or Bachler)
* Min of 5 years management experience in Warehousing or Distribution environment
* Experience in managing people in a multicultural environment is essential.
SKILLS:
* Excellent communication/presentation skills – Written and Verbal
* Attention to detail
* Good numeracy skills
* PC literate
* Must be prepared for call outs and weekend work whenever necessary
* Experience with dangerous goods will be advantage.
* Experience with managing with several warehouses at the same time.
* Ability to communicate in English, Hindi. Arabic is an added advantage.
