Description:
• Perform the full audit cycle.
• Determining internal audit scope and developing annual plans
• Good knowledge with experience in auditing based on the latest ISO Standards
• Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
• Verifies assets and liabilities by comparing items to documentation.
• Completes audit workpapers by documenting audit tests and findings.
• Appraises adequacy of internal control systems by completing audit questionnaires.
• Maintains internal control systems by updating audit programs and questionnaires and recommending new policies and procedures.
• Communicates audit findings by preparing a final report and discussing findings with auditees.
• Complies with federal, state, and local security legal requirements by studying existing and new security legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
• Prepares special audit and control reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing operating information and trends.
• Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings.
QUALIFICATION:
• BS or MS degree in the relevant industry.
• ACCA /CA is added advantage.
• The Certified Internal Auditor certification is an advantage
• Completion of relevant industry-specific
• certification, such as a certified internal auditor is an advantage.
• A minimum of 5-7 years’ auditing experience.
• An in-depth understanding of the industry’s rules, guidelines, and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical, and statistical skills.
• Good computer skills and experience with relevant software programs.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Dedication to objectivity.
