We are looking for a senior team member to join KRUSH Brands to develop, implement, track, and optimize the customer engagement and activation function within the corporate team (Growth Marketing). This role would be a “hands on” role in the short term and our expectation would be to build more capabilities in the team over time as we achieve success in the market.

What you will be doing:

Customer Engagement (CRM)

• Lead the integration of Braze (already started)
• Develop user journeys to activate customers (e.g., onboarding, share of wallet, inactivity, etc.) to drive improvement in the purchase funnels and increase loyalty
• Develop content for each user journey (with marketing team support) to develop custom content messaging to customers
• Launch targeted campaigns which are designed to ensure that the target audience is activated
• Track results on campaigns (e.g., pilots, A/B testing, fully deployed campaigns)
• Based upon results from campaigns – adjust and re-deploy (e.g., analyze results, re-allocate budget / activities against channels with success, etc.) – measured against Order Volume, GMV and Customer Retention

Analytics – product & users (Amplitude)

• Lead the integration of Amplitude (from a Marketing perspective – Technical integration by our Tech Team)
• Conduct analysis to identify new and creative growth strategies, utilizing strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints (e.g., where are people dropping off, what are they responding to, what they are purchasing, etc.)
• Develop segmented cohorts to activate – based upon analysis through integration with Braze
• Recommend adjustments in the Locale (for our tech team to integrate, based upon the issues customers are facing int he tech.)

B/I (integrated into our tech backend)

• Work with the tech team to define and implement the B/I dashboards to measure Customer Activation success (e.g., order volume, GMV, customer retention, etc.)

Performance Marketing (Customer Acquisition)

• Support customer acquisition and brand consideration through digital marketing channels, always ensuring that business goals are met (e.g., cost per customer acquired, are acquiring the correct customers, etc.)
• Work closely with other marketing team members such as Brand Leads, SEO, community managers, business development, etc to maximize revenue by increasing sales through various projects including coordinating 360 marketing campaigns

Team & Values

• Educate other department leads (as required) on new technologies and advocate for a data-driven approach across the different areas of the business
• Collaborate with other key non-marketing departments such as brands, operations, technology and senior management (Chief Strategy & Growth Officer, CEO) to explore new opportunities and adapt acquisition strategies accordingly
• Support and contribute to all KRUSH Brands business objectives and strategy
• Effectively communicate, with key stakeholders, through accurate and timely reporting
• Respect, uphold and perpetuate the core values of Locale – good food, good people, good ideas matter in all aspects

Requirements:

The role requires excellent analytics, strategic thinking, problem solving and communications skills with a strong track record and experience in driving customer engagement and activation in a Growth function of a start-up.

• 10 years+ of relevant industry experience
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Results-oriented, with experience working with performance marketing and direct response campaigns but also a strong understanding of upper-funnel campaigns and how they impact brand and long-term sales
• Strong Project Management experience, with the ability to work and drive projects across departments
• Excellence at prioritizing tasks and projects, by managing workload and requests efficiently
• A hands-on contributor who loves working with Data and problem solving
• Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative team environment and possess a love of food and ecommerce
• Maintain strong attention to detail and have excellent communication skills
• Be comfortable accepting and implementing feedback
• A proven ability to produce high quality work with tight deadlines
• Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
• Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
• Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
• Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Amplitude)
• Working knowledge Braze
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
• Entrepreneurial mind set – with a “can do” approach
